Tim Jack began his professional career in 1976 as a producer and director and became an Ordained Minister in 1984 with a subsequent Ordination in 1997. He served as President and CEO of Majestic Records as well as CEO of a non-profit organization providing humanitarian and spiritual leadership around the globe.

He has been an integral part of Explosive growth church leadership for decades. He is currently President and CEO for the ‘for profit’ corporation, Entera Entertainment Group Inc. He also serves on the board of directors for an international humanitarian organization. Locally, Reverend Tim serves as a board member and associate minister at the Metaphysical Chapel of South Florida.

He has studied metaphysics and has been in leadership roles for metaphysical churches for 10 years and now works closely with Senior Minister Kevin Lee in areas such as church growth, team building, administration, and leadership.

Friday, August 3rd

10 am – 12 pm: Meet and Greet, then alumni “catch-up” sharing experiences as an alumnus

Rev. Kevin Lee will share the exciting changes and growth of the Metaphysical Chapel of South Florida, as well as introduce the conference speaker for our time together.

The vision for this Conference is to discover the tools that will make UMC a more powerful force for good than ever before. In this session, Rev Tim will help refresh your own journey as a minister and how you can be more effective, purposeful and powerful.

Class 1: Understanding the Value and Importance of Sunday Morning-In this time together, we will explore and discover new and fresh concepts of creating a Sunday Service that will help build our congregation.

Class 2: How to Build a Music Department of Excellence – Here you will learn the tried and proven steps and techniques that are crucial to having an outstanding music program.

6 pm – 7 pm: Candlelight Dinner in the Library
7:30 pm – 9 pm: Closing Ceremonies (Chapel) – Alumni Celebration Service (Burning Bowl Ceremony)

Directions to the UMC

UMC is located at 1488 Peters Creek Road, NW, Roanoke, Virginia, at the intersection of Hershberger Road (to the east), Peters Creek Road, and Peachtree Drive (to the west).

1. From Interstate 81 take the US 581 exit South (exit 143).
2. Take the first exit off of US 581, Peters Creek Road, South. Turn right on Peters Creek Road at the end of the exit ramp.
3. Turn right at the fourth traffic light (Hershberger to the left and Peachtree to the right).
4. Immediately bear left into the United Metaphysical Churches driveway.

If you are coming from Melrose Avenue or Salem, turn north on Peters Creek Road. At the first light (Hershberger to the right, Peachtree to the left), turn left and bear left into the UMC driveway. Upon arrival check in at the office.

Airport Arrivals

The Roanoke Municipal Airport (code ROA) is less than 10 minutes away from UMC. If you are flying to Roanoke and need ground transportation, call the UMC office at (540) 562-4889 and they will do their best to accommodate you.

Let them know the date, arrival time, and airline you will be using. If you also need ground transportation to the airport upon your departure, please let the office secretary know your travel details—date, time, airline.

NEW Train service to Roanoke!

Passenger train service returned to the region on October 31 with a daily Amtrak train that departs and arrives in Downtown Roanoke. The new stop in Virginia’s Blue Ridge is part of Amtrak’s Northeast Regional Route, making the region easy to reach from destinations like Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston.

It takes approximately five hours to make the trip to Virginia’s Blue Ridge from Union Station in the nation’s capital!
