Notes:

  • Teachers will be assigned as soon as possible.
  • Due to an increased need for proper classroom space, it is necessary for students to make their own arrangements to stay off campus in a local hotel. The UMC Education department will diligently attempt to arrange student discounts at certain hotels in the area. A certain number of UMC dormitory rooms will be reserved for students on scholarship, and/or special needs.
  • For scholarship students, the room fee for any Seminary session is $35per night or $210 per Seminary session, half of which is covered by your scholarship. All meals are the responsibility of the student during the Weekend Seminary Intensive.
  • The Room and Meals payments made by students staying on campus provide breakfast and lunch. Dinner arrangements for all Seminary sessions are left up to the individual student. Meal arrangements for the last breakfast on the day of departure are also left up to the individual student.
  • Individual Meals Fees: Breakfast-$7, Lunch-$10 Total: $17 per day or $85/Week
  • Cafeteria style menus will honor regular and vegetarian selections at each meal. Students with other special dietary needs are kindly asked to provide for their own additional preferences. The kitchen is not open, and no meals are offered or available for the Weekend Seminary Intensive. All meals are the responsibility of the student.

As you may know, we have completely updated our curriculum to reflect how we are growing as an organization and to modernize our methods, so we can be most effective in every area. The first order of the Universe is to change, and change brings growth. Therefore, I am excited to announce to you some updates as far as the date of our upcoming Semester. Due to the schedules and availability of some of our staff, our Spring Seminary will now be meeting on the following dates:

• October 4, 2019 Registration from 2-5 PM

• October 5th to 9th, 2019 Classes

• October 10, 2019 Check out

We are also very excited to announce that we are increasing our classroom space! Some of our dorm rooms will now function as classrooms to keep up with our increasing attendance and expansion of the curriculum. Because of this, we are requesting that students make arrangements to stay off campus, and to make arrangements for dinner. Staying off campus will not apply to students on the scholarship program. Lunch and breakfast will still be served on campus. We have negotiated a very good rate the Baymont Inn & Suites for our students. Students are welcome to stay in their own room or arrange to share occupancy with another. student directly. If you choose to room with another student, be sure to make your reservation with one credit card, but also include both names on the reservation. Please contact the hotel NO LATER than September 4th in order to lock in your special rate.
